Our consultancy arm provides various services from care agency set-up, workforce development fund set up and management for care companies. We have worked with over 20 organisations within this capacity over the last 5 years.

Workforce Development Fund (WDF)

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) is funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) disseminated by Skills for Care. It supports the provision of high quality care and the continuing professional development (CPD) of staff across the adult social care sector by providing a contribution towards the costs of vocational learning. The fund allows you to claim back money towards the costs of workers completing a broad range of adult social care qualifications, learning programmes and digital learning modules.

Many care providers are not even aware of this funding and so many do not benefit from it because of the complexity of setting it up and managing it. This is where we come in!

Our WDF Support Package

We understand that care providers are so busy focusing on providing a good quality service that they do not have the time or resources to set up and manage their WDF where bureaucracy and paperwork as well as claims are long winded.

Within this package we will take care of everything for you, and in return you are able to provide your staff with the best training and development available by taking advantage of the funding. By partnering with us, we are able to offer you the following:

  •  Registration with one of our WDF partners
  •  Set up and manage your NMDS (this is mandatory to access the funding and it has to be 100% compliant)
  •  Provide accredited training to your staff at market value, so that you can benefit from some of the extra funding which we build into the training cost for you
  •  Manage all WDF claims on time in a compliant way
  •  Enrol your staff on courses with a small deposit and allow balance to be paid upon completion when funding can be claimed
  •  Liaise with funding partner on your behalf for all enquiries and claims

What does it cost?

There is an initial set up cost of £500 plus VAT, and on-going administrative fee for managing your NMDS and keeping it 100% compliant which is a monthly cost of £100 for up to 25 staff. As your workforce increase this monthly fee also increases by £50 for every extra 25 staff with a maximum fee of £300 monthly.

The Funding

Funding can only be claimed on specific date throughout the academic year and only upon completion of training, as accredited certificates have to be submitted with all claims.

Once the funding is received, which is paid directly into your account, we invoice you for the training cost which is payable immediately.
