LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN ADULT CARE (RQF) – CARE HOME PATHWAY – Formerly NVQ

This course is approved by Skills for Care and regulated by Ofqual and meets the CQC requirements for anyone who wants to, or is currently working in the following roles: • Adult Care Worker • Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker • Senior Healthcare Assistant • Personal Assistant The qualification develops competence therefore learners must be in paid or voluntary work to enable assessment to take place. This qualification will equip you with all the mandatory knowledge required and the skills to be a competent Senior care or Senior support worker within the care or residential home as a Senior Health Care Assistant. You will need to achieve a minimum of 58 credits at a level 3 to obtain this qualification. (Please note that we only charge for awarding body certificate upon completion. Therefore when you complete you will have a fee of £40 + VAT to pay for your certificate.)

Entry Requirements

• Be working in a health and social care setting
• Level 2 written and spoken English (Equivalent to GCSE A-C)
• IT literate (Internet, Microsoft office)
• Able to understand and interpret course materials
• Self-motivated and willing to complete and achieve
• Access to Care Manager who can provide expert witness on work place practice
